Joe Talbot from BBC Radio Sussex broadcast the afternoon show from 12 til 4, live on Friday 24th August. Amber Rudd MP came down from Westminster to support the development of the site as well as discuss issues and challenges facing her constituents in Rye.
As well as Amber, Joe talked to Ian Ross from The School Creative Centre, Niki Stuart from The Rye Arts Festival, David Byrne from Entertainments Workshops and Tracey Mogard from Herald and Hart.
There was also live music from local musician Steve Rivington.
Later that evening there was a broadcast from the garden of The George Hotel which went out across the South East, from Bournemouth to Oxford and all places in between...even Iden.

Promoting Rye, East Sussex through the Arts with a focus on live performance and particularly John Fletcher's association with the town
Who are we?
Fletcher in Rye CIC
A group of local residents with experience in Business, Banking and Theatre.
We came together originally to try to establish a theatre in The Monastery and promote the name of John Fletcher - the Jacobean playwright, and colleague of Shakespeare - who was born in Rye. The group’s focus switched to Lion Street when it was threatened with redevelopment.
We're building links with local businesses (including Jonathan Dunn Architects and Kino Digital) - helping us preserve Rye’s heritage by establishing creative and sustainable uses for its historic and potentially redundant buildings.
